SDI to IP Transition

SDI has been a well-known open standard over past 3 decades and has served well. Point to point connections provide a reliable network infrastructure and deliver a good quality studio video. SDI offers low levels of jitter and latency, as well as ease of deployment and straight forward implementation of frame accurate switching. IP solution lets you create hybrid SDI/IP workflow allowing your stuff to work with the same comfort of familiar broadcast control systems. The key drivers for the SDI to IP migration have increased bandwidth and transmission rate of information. They also offer an operational costs reduction and the benefits of economies of scale.
